Master Pancake Theater
Master Pancake Theater is the Alamo Drafthouse tradition of pairing questionable movies with live comedy (and beer)! It’s smart, fast, and bust-a-gut funny. Voted Best Comedy Troupe seven years in a row by the readers of the Austin Chronicle, Master Pancake features slacker wise-cracker John Erler and a rotating band of Austin’s funniest comics going up against the worst that Hollywood has to offer.

Legend has it that once a year, filmmakers, stars, and fans converge to match their wits and test their mettle as they settle some of the most important questions facing the industry today.
From verbal violence to pugilistic pummeling, we have the rage you crave at the Fantastic Debates, where the burning questions facing the fan community are resolved once and for all, first with words, and then with furious FISTS!! Past Fantastic Debates have featured screen titans like Keanu Reeves, Elijah Wood, Michelle Rodriguez, Ti West and Joe Swanberg, as well as a host of critics, bloggers, bruisers and movie maniacs. Debaters to be announced shortly… and brutally!
Only one man would dare host such a magnificent event…and they call him Owen.
